Starting in January, the first Erev Shabbat of every month is a true delight!

6:00 Tot Shabbat brings together our youngest congregants and their families for child-friendly song and spirituality.

6:30 Community Potluck calls us all to dine together, to feast upon the conversation and company of fellow TBS members.

For the potluck members are encouraged to bring food based on their last name:

• A-J please bring dairy main dish
• K-Z a side dish.
• Dessert will be provided at the oneg

7:30 Erev Shabbat Service draws us closer as together we welcome Shabbat, and honor our Jewish traditions.

The TBS Annual Auction is set for Tax Day 2012 - April 15th.

The 22nd Annual TBS Auction: "This American Night:" Yankee Doodle Dinner and Tax Day Auction, is going to be the biggest and best ever! Please plan to attend – April 15 at 5 pm.

Think: Americana!

Following the success of last year's event, the Auction is staying at its new location at the Chemeketa Eola Viticulture Center in west Salem. It's a beautiful location with a view over the vineyards to the mountains in the east. We will have a full dinner, music, wonderful packages for the oral auction, and a multitude of silent auction items.

Auctioneer Dennis Turmon will be making a reappearance this year as Uncle Sam. With the date and theme of this year's auction, the question is clear: "Why give your money to the government, when you can give it to Temple Beth Sholom?"

If you would like to make a special mark on this year's auction, become a Sponsor or Patron! Sponsors will have a table for eight, four bottles of wine at the table, a prominent ad in the tribute book, your name and/or logo in all marketing pieces, and full acknowledgement at the auction. 2012 is an important year for the financial and communal future of TBS! You can help us meet our goal of raising $40,000 by bringing your friends from outside the TBS community, and soliciting items for the auction. Amber has solicitation forms for your use.

Prices for the auction are:

• $65/couple
• $250/ table of eight
• $1800 for a sponsorship.

Fourth Thursday - No host luncheon

On the fourth Thursday of each month we will gather in the social hall to schmooze, eat, see old friends and generally enjoy ourselves.  Please contact any friends you know who would like to attend.  If you drive, please offer to pick up a friend or two.  Cost will be less than $10.00 per person.  Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
