Jewish Spirituality Book Group

You are invited to be part of a Shabbat sharing of three fascinating books which explore contemporary applications of Jewish spirituality.   The discussions will be facilitated by Charlean Clemons.  Each discussion group will begin following Shabbat morning services, at about 12:30 p.m.  Attendees should have already read that month’s book.  A facilitated discussion will be enlivened by the comments and questions brought by readers, and a bibliography for further study will be provided.  Attendees are welcome to bring a sack lunch – coffee and tea will be provided. There is no charge for these sessions, but donations to our food drive are requested.  All books are available through powellsbooks.com.

Shabbat at Our Synagogue Home

Art Fair-22
Save the Date: Friday, July 12, 2013 at 6 PM
Do you miss the fun, camaraderie, and delicious taste of our July hot dog booth?  Not to worry, this season's "Shabbot in the Home" is going to be held at the shul--"Shabbot at our synagogue home".  Instead of Friday night services, we are going to "fire up" our hot dog booth and have an evening of potluck dinner (participants will bring sides and desserts and we'll provide the kosher hot dogs) and old and young alike will have a fabulous summer evening of eating, singing, and dancing.  Please mark your calendars and we'll update you nearer to the event.
