As we
enter in to the High Holy Day season, come join TBS
members for a film and discussion on the themes of
identity, repentance, and connection. The Chosen,
based on the book by Chaim Potok, is the story of
two Jewish boys growing up in New York in the 1940’s
– one who is a math genius but wants to become a
rabbi, and another who is the son of a Hasidic rebbe
who is questioning his own path. A brief selihot
service will follow the discussion.
